Description
On September 24, 1983, a group of 15 women from Quakertown, Springtown, Sellersville, Pleasant Valley, and Perkasie, Pennsylvania met for the first time in the basement of Quakertown's historic Burgess Foulke House. Our co-founders,
Vicki Derenick & Brenda Kalata, wanted to provide a forum for area quilters to come together trying and evaluating new techniques, trouble-shoot quilting issues, as well as stimulate, challenge and expand their quilting skills. The group called themselves "Keystone Quilters".
