The National Quilt Museum works to advance the art of today’s quilters by bringing it to new and expanding audiences worldwide. A destination for quilters and art enthusiasts, annually the Museum welcomes visitors from all 50 U.S. states and over 40 foreign countries from all corners of the globe. The Museum’s onsite and travelling exhibits are viewed by over 120,000 people per year. The Museum also has a robust education program for both youth and adults. Over 6,000 people participate in the Museum’s educational opportunities on an annual basis. In addition, the Museum’s advocacy efforts promote quilting worldwide. In 2013 alone, over 420 online and off-line publications wrote articles about the Museum’s work including Reuters, Yahoo.com, and the International Business Journal. The National Quilt Museum is a five-time TripAdvisor Certificate of Excellence winner. It is located in Historic Downtown Paducah, Kentucky which was recently recognized as a UNESCO Creative City.
