So I continued feeding her, but A month later, three of the kittens were already gone. The only remaining kittens (two grey tabby’s) were at my front door because Mama told them "This is how you catch food." Unfortunately, this only lasted another few weeks before the kittens walked off into the woods. I was discouraged, but not as much as DT was. She disappeared for three weeks looking for them and came back super skinny to the food dish. I was happy to see her and gave her many hugs and kisses plus all the food and water she could eat. After contacting the cat lady that runs the local cat rescue that I volunteer for, she arranged for DT to be spayed as long as I agreed she needed to go to a new home as a barn cat after recovery. I agreed, and she was fixed and placed at a barn where she is loved by a great couple.
