Description
Quilt Guild by the Sea, also known as QGbtS, began in 2011 with a group of six women with a common interest in quilting, sharing ideas, community service, and fellowship. In a very short time membership has grown to over 125.
Membership actively participates in our monthly meetings, Outreach Programs including Quilts of Valor, Comfort Quilts, Comfort Bears, and Fidget Quilts, workshops, monthly programs, donation and raffle quilts, quilt retreats, quilt bees, and our annual quilt challenge.
QGbtS gives back to our community through distribution of quilts to QOV, Boca Raton Regional Hospital Infusion Center, and Lynn Cancer Institute of Boca Raton and Delray Beach. We also create Comfort Bears for the Achievement Center, in Delray Beach and the Children's Place in Lake Worth.
