Estimating Yardage By Bed Size

One of the most common questions I get is “How do I know how many yards of fabric I need” for my project?  The answer is, “It really depends on your project.”    The following table will help you estimate. If you have an exact item you are making a quilt for, I suggest you measure that item to be sure it is accurate. For additional help, take your measurements into your local quilt shop for assistance.
