La Grange, Texas, is home to the Texas Quilt Museum, and three colorful new exhibits will grace their walls now through April 27, 2024.
The International Quilt Festival, held in Houston, Texas, hosts a yearly quilt competition. Many of these quilts come from across the world for entry. Now, eighteen winners from the show will be on display at the museum.
This offering is unique since the award-winning quilts have often been committed to being on display at other shows or events after their win in Houston. So, seeing all 18 winners at the same time is atypical. For those who could not attend the 2023 International Quilt Festival, here is your chance to check out the winners.

Their new colorful exhibit allows gallery visitors to view colors from a new perspective, as if using a prism. The exhibition features 62 art quilts from 46 artists from SAQA's Northern California/Northern Nevada chapters. Unique to this exhibit is having all quilts measuring the same size.
